About Events

The Asia-Pacific Sustainable Business and Innovation Forum (ASBIF) 2026 marks a pivotal moment in the journey towards sustainable business practices across the Asia region. Building on the success of the previous summits, this year’s Forum will be held in Surabaya, Indonesia, from June 22-23, 2026. The event is a continuation of the collaborative efforts between the Center for Environmental, Social, and Governance Studies (CESGS) at Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia, and the Research Centre for ESG (CESG) at the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.

In its new form, ASBIF brings together a diverse array of stakeholders, from academia to industry, in an effort to reshape the way businesses engage with sustainability and ESG principles. With CESGS now serving as the Secretariat and local host, the 2026 Forum will be a landmark occasion that builds on the legacy of the Asia Sustainability and ESG Summit, including insights, lessons, and collaborative efforts from the past.

The Forum will feature thought-provoking discussions and presentations from a blend of renowned academics, industry leaders, and ESG practitioners. These sessions will provide valuable insights into the most current trends and research, offering participants a unique opportunity to engage in high-level discussions about the future of sustainable business in the Asia region.

ASBIF 2026 is not just a conference, it is a platform for actionable collaboration, where the boundaries between academia, industry, and government blur, fostering a community dedicated to advancing sustainable business practices for a better, more inclusive future.
