Backend Engineer 

Job Brief: 

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our IT team. Responsible for the server-side of our web applications. As a Back-end developer, you will work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience. Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our company’s needs. 

Responsibilities: 

• Implement, maintain, and documenting the API endpoints, services, and workers that power all the exciting new features on our roadmap 
• Identifying and troubleshooting errors and performance issues that occur within our infrastructure 
• Participate in designing and building systems for maximum performance, reliability, and scalability 

• Work closely with frontend and product teams 
• Be able to conceptualize all the various parts of our infrastructure and how they all work together 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience 

• 1+ years of experience writing and maintaining API’s in a production-level environment (preferably with Node.js) 
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL) 
• Knowledge of ORM (Such as Sequelize) 
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose, Digital Ocean, or other cloud service 
• Experience with NoSQL Database, Unit Testing, CI/CD 

• Experience with monitoring services (logging and real-time monitoring via Dashboard) is a plus 
• Experience with server-side caching is a plus 
• A strong self-starter, learner, operationally-focused; a problem-solver 
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills 

Salary Range: Rp 4.000.000 – 6.000.000
